We are an experiential project that shouldn't be commercialized in the usual sense. So for the further development of ZEGG we need the financial support from everyone who is interested. In particular we are looking for people willing to lend money for the further expansion and maintenance of the site. We want to improve the current buildings and grounds from ecological, energy conservation and experimental viewpoints and begin the building of new ones.
There are different ways to support ZEGG financially:
ZEGG Club
The ZEGG Club is for everyone who wants to donate a regular monthly sum (25,-€ or more)
ZEGG Club members receive the regular ZEGG Rundbrief (newsletter) and the ZEGG reader once a year. As a further thank you we invite all ZEGG Club members to a free weekend event once a year.
In addition, if your monthly contribution is more than 50,-€, you will receive a 10% fee reduction for the big ZEGG events(Easter, Whitsun, Summer Camp, New Year).

Since the beginning of ZEGG we have invested over 3 Million Euros in the purchase and development of the site. Most of the investments ( about 2,3 Mio) have been financed through loans. Over 250 members and friends of ZEGG have contributed their shares and loans.
Up to now we have not significantly reduced our debts as we want to continue to repair, expand and further develop ZEGG for us and for our guests. Therefore we are looking for lenders who support us with new loans (1000,-€ and more). This will enable us to pay back older ones and keep our budgeting in balance.
We see the financing of ZEGG as a communal act of many members, guests and friends. Many hands carry our site and our community project. This very reliable system works since over 15 years. Who has money which is actually not needed can safely “park” it at ZEGG and support an experiential community project.
