Listening, awakening with dance, everyone for themselves, in the midst of community, dancing with light and shadow, in the turbulence and tranquillity of physical prayer.

Dance allows us to consciously live out and celebrate the temporal quality of the awakening Spring and the Easter celebration. In turn, we can celebrate the universal life tangible in and between death and resurrection.

The program includes a variety of trance dances, lectures and experiential spaces, opportunity for reflection and a ceremonial day with sweatlodges. One form of ritual trance dance is Bandana, a blindfolded dance in a safe space. Another is the Batucada, danced to live music from Nanigo, a group of twenty drummers. These form part of the night-long trance dance night for the Easter night itself - celebrate until dawn with 120 fellow dancers! The rhythms and sounds of the music we dance to can help us into a state of trance and ecstasy, with a very special alertness and clarity. This allows us deeper access to our inner worlds of experience, familiar and unfamiliar, to images and visions, both personal and collective.

Die and be. Cheers of quiet. Joy, beautiful divine sparks. Earthly space.

What does it mean for your Being in this world? And what could it mean if the person next to you is also this one universe?
