Working together is an ideal way to come in contact with others, to feel at home and to create something (lasting) together.
Action Weeks
The work completed during our action weeks makes an important contribution to ZEGG. There is something on offer for everyone, whether you prefer light tasks or the chance to be wonderfully physically exhausted at the end of the day.
Depending on the season and weather, breaks are taken together around the campfire or the swimming pool. And group sessions offer a space for personal exchanges and the chance to experience the ZEGG Forum, which can lead to trust and intimacy within the group in a short space of time. After work we can spend one of the evenings relaxing in ZEGG's own sauna or enjoying other opportunities on site which often include a disco evening at the weekend.
We work about 6 hours per day. If possible we prefer first-time guests to attend an Info Weekend beforehand. The Action Weeks are free of charge.
Summer Guests
During the summer we offer the chance to stay in ZEGG and contribute by working in the kitchen, garden or guest house. Summer guests work about five hours per day from Monday to Saturday. We meet every day for a morning attunement and after work for a meeting to share and talk or take part in other activities together. Summer guests are asked to stay for at least one full week and to arrive on Sundays (we can be flexible for those travelling from afar). For those visiting ZEGG for the first time, we ask you to arrive in time to take part in the guided tour of ZEGG at 4pm (meeting point at the 'village pub').
Constructing ZEGG
We are always on the lookout for skilled tradespeople to work on our construction sites, even for short periods. You can find information about these opportunities (in German) on our website in the section "Neues aus dem G-Team" (News from our site crew). If you know you would like to come and help, please write a short letter of introduction telling us what skills you have. We will then get back to you.
