ZC FestDon't let the photo give you the wrong impression – the ZEGG-Club Fest last weekend wasn't a "boot camp" designed to get the participants back into shape! It was taken on the opening evening and shows an "ice-breaker" exercise to provide a little movement and a chance to make contact with some of the other guests: in groups of five, ten and then twenty we had to build "human statues". Afterwards we relaxed to music and listened to each other's latest news.

In total, 71 ZEGG Club members and ZEGG lenders accepted the community's invitation to spend the weekend here. On Saturday morning, the discussion revealed that the two hottest topics which our supporters wanted to hear more about were the "Empire Me" film from Paul Poet featuring ZEGG and the changes and challenges relating to the Holacracy organisational model which the community has adopted in recent years. Appropriate events were hastily organised for the afternoon and proved very popular. The disco evening on Saturday was also very well attended. Hagara Feinbier introduced the evening with a selection of her new songs. The weekend's celebrations then came to a close on Sunday morning with a group discussion which took on the character of a Forum.

This was the last ZEGG Club celebration to be organised by Evelyn Otte and Robert Heeß. Neither of them knew exactly how many years they have been the custodians of this event, which is a vital expression of the joint commitment between ZEGG's supporters and its members. It has been quite a few years, that's a fact.
The community has not yet chosen the new custodians for 2013, but the celebration will definitely take place! Unless the sky falls on our head :-)
