340 adults and 30 children took part in this year's Come Together Song Festival in ZEGG. Hagara Feinbier and Raimund Mauch demonstrated their abilities as festival organisers once again. Everyone was invited to sing and swing together in the mornings and evenings, with the afternoons offering a platform for guests to show off their own talents in smaller open space groups.
This offered a good chance to get to know each other, make new contacts and share in the enjoyable diversity. Special guests this year were Unmada Kindel and Satyaa and Pari. Unmada's actions were a lot of fun for adults and children alike. Satyaa and Pari gave a moving public concert in the "Big Top" on Saturday evening with their mantra adaptations and own songs. We were very fortunate with the weather, so the festival guests were able to make the most of the many opportunities the ZEGG site offers.
Next year's Song Festival is already being planned for May 30 - June 2, 2013. Invited guests include the singer-songwriter Gila Antara and the pianist and singer Joachim Goerke. He will create a creative space inviting guests to gain a new experience of vocal improvisation and circle singing.
