Eleven children and youth with three accompanying adults from the forthcoming independent school in Tamera are staying in ZEGG for one week. Some of the young people in the group used to live in ZEGG, including one young woman who grew up here and is now a mother herself - so there were some moving reunions during the stay!
Before they arrived here, the group had been in Berlin for ten days, staying at another progressive school in order to learn from their experiences and form connections which might be useful as they found their school. And the children also learnt how to breakdance - a skill they were happy to show off during a public evening on Thursday, open to ZEGG members and guests from the Fläming region. The evening also included the moving image film about the 'Escola da Esperanca': (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3hOFQ-QDHk). On the Wednesday, the group took over the ZEGG kitchen, baking and serving pizza for residents and guests.
