Brian has been spending his summers at ZEGG for 15 years. As a biologist and expert in Permaculture, he takes care of the trees and bushes all over the grounds. People who are working with him usually learn a lot, so we invited him to share his knowledge and experience with you.
In this podcast, Brian talks about his perspective on Permaculture, the way of living at ZEGG, and how everybody — and especially communities — can use and grow with Permaculture. The interview was conducted by Alice Dieminger, and the following questions were discussed:
- What does Permaculture mean to Brian?
- What brought Brian to ZEGG, and what role does Permaculture play in his life and in his work here?
- What are the principles behind Permaculture, and what does people often misunderstand about Permaculture?
- How is climate change influencing Permaculture work at ZEGG?
- If you would like to start practising Permaculture today, where would Brian recomend you to start?
- What does Permaculture have to do with community building?
